Surrey Christmas Bureau thanking public for generous donations

SURREY (NEWS1130): The Surrey Christmas Bureau is thanking the public for their generous donations in time for the holidays. The Christmas Bureau says they’ve been able to meet the high demand of donations, and even managed to extend registration for donations, to Friday.

Konch Bakshi with the Christmas Bureau says the additional people they’ve helped are grateful–some in tears as they thank Bureau workers for being able to have gifts and food for Christmas Day. She says so far, they haven’t had to turn anyone away.

Bakshi also says people from other communities have chipped in to help Surrey families.
