LADNER (NEWS1130): Delta Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Ladner area man who was last seen Friday night. George Safar, 84, who also goes by the name Julius, was last seen leaving his home near 46th and 53-A Street, and was believed to be headed to the local Safeway or Save-On Foods in South Delta.
Police say Safar, who is 5’9 169 lbs, with a medium build, gray hair, and brown eyes, doesn’t suffer from a known medical condition, but police believe it’s possible he may have become disoriented. Safar was last seen wearing gray slacks, a light weight blue jacket, boots and a hat. He was driving a 2009 Mazda 6, four door, gray, with B.C. plate 726 LGS.
