VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Supreme Court of Canada has refused to hear an appeal from the man convicted of shooting a Good Samaritan outside a Vancouver nightclub.
Imran Sharif will serve at least 20 years for killing Rachel Davis. The court ruled his first degree murder conviction for the death of Davis and Richard Hui and his attempted murder conviction for attacking five other men will both stand.
Sharif killed Davis when she intervened in a fight between two groups outside the Purple Onion in 2004.
