More racist graffiti has been found in the Kingswood area.
RCMP Const. Tamu Bracken tells News 95.7 the epithets were discovered at a playground near the subdivision’s entrance.
“Yesterday at about 1:30 an HRM employee had called the Halifax District RCMP to report this offensive racial wording that had been carved into a playground structure at the park,” she said.
Bracken says the messages, targeting the Jewish and African-Canadian communities, is in the same location where racist graffiti was discovered last week.
Bracken says three other incidents recently occurred in Hammonds Plains, Lower Sackville and Eastern Passage.
“The other one in the Hammonds Plains area was just off the Pockwock Road on Micmac Drive,” she said. “There was another one just off First Lake Drive behind the Kinsman Centre and the first one that was reported to us was in Eastern Passage near the wharf area.”
Bracken says investigators are looking for connections between the five incidents.
