One man in hospital after stabbing in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Two people are in custody after a man was stabbed twice while walking near 140th and 93A Avenue in Surrey at around 2 a.m.
RCMP say it looks like the attack was unprovoked, but add the suspects may have been trying to rob the victim. He remains in stable condition in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Meanwhile, Mounties are looking for a suspect after a man was found beaten and unconscious outside Shooters Bar on Dewdney Trunk Road in Maple Ridge this morning.
RCMP Staff Sergeant Tim Chad says the victim was found bleeding and has been taken to hospital. He’s also expected to recover.
