Paul Carson loses battle with cancer

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – He lived life to the fullest…
That’s how Paul Carson is being remembered by friends this morning.
The long-time Vancouver sportscaster passed away at age 60 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Greg Douglas, AKA Dr Sport,  worked with Carson at CKVU TV where Paul was host of Sports Page.

“He was the kind of guy that was a friend of the pro sports teams. Those were the days when management could talk to a guy like Paul Carson behind closed doors and rest assured that if something was said off the record – it stayed off the record”.

Douglas says he’s never heard anyone say anything bad about him, adding, in broadcasting, that’s really something.
