Two bodies found inside Richmond hotel

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) – Two bodies have been found inside a Richmond hotel room, and police are not providing many more details about what happened.
A man and a woman, both in their 50s, were found dead around 6 p.m. Saturday when hotel staff asked police to check on the well being of two of their guests who didn’t check out of their rooms as scheduled.
Corporal Sherrdean Turley with Richmond RCMP says it was apparent that both suffered trauma. “At this time, no one else is believed to be involved in this incident.”
Both victims are from Richmond. Their names have not been released. Police are not naming the hotel or saying if any weapon was found.
Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit is investigating.
