ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – With motorcycle travel gaining popularity, a good portion of the Vancouver Motorcycle Show at the Tradex in Abbotsford is devoted to discovering the world on two wheels.
There are tour seminars and people who spend most of their year on a bike exploring to answer all your burning questions.
World rider Rene Cormier says, “I didn’t realize how many other people enjoyed the type of riding we do, because you never see them. They’re always in the bush or on gravel roads. It’s unlike other groups of motorcyclists that tend to gather in urban areas, in front of coffee shops or on breakfast runs and you see them quite a bit.”
He’s pulling off rides of a lifetime, the old-fashioned way; no sponsors, support vehicles, or riding partners.
Cormier has turned his passion into a career by offering tour trips to South Africa. He’ll be at the show until Sunday.
