A bar in Boston turns away Canucks fans

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A sports bar in Boston is turning away Vancouver Canucks fans. The general manager of Hurricane O’Reilly’s says the welcome mat is only out for Bruins fans.
Dan Butler says it’s actually safer for people in Canucks jerseys to avoid his bar, especially after they’ve downed a few too many drinks. “We’ve turned away a few of them who were pretty drunk, and sort of, I don’t want to say belligerent, but a little more vocal. You get the mob mentality if you get some drunk guys in here, especially after the losses.”
He says the bar across the street from his has become the unofficial watering hole for Canucks fans before and after the game.
Dan actually comes from Calgary and his boss hails from BC.
