Husband of blinded UBC student dies in jail: report

DHAKA, Bangladesh (NEWS1130) – A Bangladeshi newspaper is reporting the husband of a UBC student who was blinded in an attack this summer has died in jail.
Rumana Monzur, 33, claims her spouse was angry about her education so he gouged her eyes out and bit off part of her nose.
Reports say Syeed Hasan Suman had a heart attack in his cell in Dhaka.
