SURREY (NEWS1130) – His mother says it was a senseless act which has taken her son away from her forever.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has identified the man from Surrey shot to death at a house party on Christmas Eve as 28-year-old Bradley McPherson.
Sgt. Jennifer Pound with IHIT says he did not have a criminal record.
She says his family and friends are going through a devastating time at the moment, and his mother Susan wanted to address the community with the following quote:
“My family and I would like to address the community and ask anyone who has any information into who is responsible for this to come forward. Bradley was a fun-loving man who loved his family and he was in no way involved in illegal activity.”
Pound says many people took off from the house party at 131 St. and 67A Ave. when police arrived early Saturday morning.
“A lot of those people still have not come forward. We need to speak with these people. It’s important that we speak to you. You are legally obligated to come forward and speak with police. The lives of Bradley’s family and friends have changed forever.”
