Late night stabbing in Langley

LANGLEY (NEWS1130) – Police are looking for a suspect in a late night stabbing in Langley. It happened around 10:30 p.m. yesterday in the Eastleigh Crescent area of the city.
Langley RCMP confirm a man in his 30’s was taken to hospital.
“Witnesses are saying this male was involved in a confrontation inside a vehicle,” explains Staff Sergeant David Brown. “As a result of the confrontation, there was a stabbing and he suffered non-life threatening wounds.”
Brown adds they are looking into the possibility that the stabbing is linked to drugs.
“It is safe to say that is one of the plausible causes. We have our serious crime investigators that are taking control of the investigation.”
Mounties are currently trying to find the suspect vehicle.
