If taking dad out isn’t in your plans, below are some popular gift suggestions and strategies for selecting the right gift.
Remember, not all fathers are the same, and depending on what your dad is into, you’ll have to tailor your gift. Over at Gifts.com, they have gift suggestions for every type of dad, ranging from the “new dad to intellectual dad to foodie dad to athletic dad.”
While the intellectual dad might appreciate something like a pocket-book or E-Reader, the athletic dad may prefer a new golf shirt or Nike GPS watch.
For the foodie dad, how about a smoker box to add to his barbecue collection or a set of specialty hot sauces.
So if you still are short for ideas on what to get dad, his favourite beverage, music or movie can always be nice, while a hand-made card can show effort and thought.
