LANGLEY (NEWS1130) – Mounties don’t think there was any foul play in the death of a man on Robertson Crescent in Langley late last year.
BC Hydro tree-trimmers were working near 264th Street on November 29th when they found a human skull.
“Through investigation, it has been determined that the remains have been at that the Robertson Crescent location for several years,” explains RCMP Corporal Holly Marks.
The remains have been identified as Barry Steven Maslanka-Ewing. Investigators haven’t found any evidence of foul play.
“[He] lived the last part of his life with family friends in the Aldergrove area. After approximately six weeks, he left. At that time, he may have been homeless or had other accommodations,” says Marks.
Mounties are hoping you can help them learn more about where Maslanka-Ewing was living between 2002 and 2005, as well as anyone he was friends with. He went by the nickname of “Big Bear.”
