BURNABY (NEWS1130) – A bear wandering through a North Burnaby neighbourhood had to be tranquilized.
Kim Seale with News1130 AirPatrol watched as the bear sniffed around.
“I can tell you he’s actually done a little bit of gardening in quite a few yards over here in Burnaby. He was up a tree close to the Chevron gas station at Lougheed and Sperling. He’s just east of Moorcroft .He’s in the backyard and he’s checked out a few hot tubs, and he’s definitely been trying to get in a few sheds.”
Earlier in the day, a bear turned up near Willingdon Avenue and Napier Street, but we’re not sure if it’s the same bear.
