LANGLEY (NEWS1130) – Two streaks were extended in front of 589 fans at the Langley Events Centre as the Surrey Eagles beat the Langley Rivermen 7-3 for a third straight win. The Rivermen have now lost four in a row.
The Eagles (16-7-2) sit second in the BCHL’s five-team Mainland Division, just two points behind the Chilliwack Chiefs. Langley (9-11-4) is last in the division.

Forward Brady Shaw led the way for Surrey with five points (3 goals, 2 assists), while Drew Best chipped in with four (1 goal, 3 assists).
Michael Santaguida made 30 saves on 33 shots for the Eagles to record the win.
Langley led 2-1 through 20 minutes, but the visitors exploded for four goals in the middle period to take a 5-2 lead and then held on for the victory.
Surrey will return to action on Friday night with a home game against the Coquitlam Express, while Langley will be back on the ice on Saturday as they’ll visit the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
