More than pocket change found in donated jacket

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – Have you donated a jacket recently, only to discover you’re missing some money?
If so, Ian MacDonald with Abbotsford police wants to hear from you.
A jacket was donated last week to a Value Village in Abbotsford with cash in the pocket.
“I think the jacket is fairly unique and I think the owner would be able to provide the denomination of the cash and the total amount,” explains MacDonald. “It was a large enough amount that the Abbotsford Police Department is communicating to the general public and the media about it.”
MacDonald says if the cash is yours, and you can provide proof of ownership, give police a call.
