Another pedestrian hit in New Westminster

NEW WESTMINISTER (NEWS1130) – Another pedestrian has been hit in Metro Vancouver.
    
Just after midnight a man was struck by a taxi in New Westminster.
    
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
    
It appears he was jaywalking at 8th Street and 4th Avenue when he was hit.
    
This incident is just the latest in a string of pedestrian related accidents in the Lower Mainland.
