Surrey school bus broadsided by SUV

SURREY (NEWS1130) – One student was hurt after a crash involving a school bus in Surrey.

It happened earlier this morning at 152nd Street and 60th.

Doug Strachan speaks for the Surrey School District. “There were two students in the bus. One isn’t hurt, another one may have had minor injuries, so the ambulance is taking the one student to be checked out.”

“One of our contracted buses appears to have been broadsided by another vehicle,” explains Strachan.

He can’t confirm the ages of the students and says police are investigating.
