Home invasion suspects target wrong house

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – There was a targeted home invasion in Chilliwack over the weekend, but Mounties say the suspects didn’t break into the home they intended to.
Two armed men went into the wrong house on Bayshore Avenue near Webster Road around 11 p.m. Saturday and demanded cash from the people inside.
The suspects quickly left after entering; no one was hurt.
“I can’t imagine a more terrifying experience for these people,” says Constable Tracy Wolbeck. “Although nobody in the residence was physically injured, its going to take them a long time recover from this mentally.”
One of the suspects is described as a man with a medium build, brown hair, and stubble on his face. He was wearing a baseball cap.
The second suspect is described as about six feet tall with a black hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants.
