Charges laid in three outstanding murder cases

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Two second-degree murder charges have been laid in connection with two outstanding homicide cases in Surrey.

Police say a young family member has been charged in the death of 43-year-old Jackie Olson. She was killed back in March in her home on 103 A Ave.

Police have not named the family member who has been charged.

Dean Anderson has been charged with the murder of Ronald Lomas. Lomas was killed late last month at what was considered at an illegal-after-hours establishment in Surrey.

Meanwhile, two 20-year-olds have pled guilty to manslaughter in connection with the death of Branson Sanders in Surrey back in December of 2011.

Police believe Sanders was killed in a home on 55 Ave. His severely burned body was found in Burnaby.

Shakib Shakib and Brandon Nandan will be sentenced in March. A 17-year-old has pled guilty to obstructing justice.
