Tips on how to keep travel plans from unraveling

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The snow will likely cause a lot of delays at the airport tomorrow as many people head out for the holidays.

Travel agent Claire Newell says save time by checking in online, print off your boarding pass and then go straight to security.

“The lineups are really long already, so make sure you’re prepared. Take off the scarf, your shoes, get your gels and liquids out and ready to be scanned and your computers out and your money out of your pockets because you’re just going to create a longer wait for everybody else.”

Don’t wrap any gifts either, security guards will just have to un-wrap them anyway.

And make sure you check the airport’s website before heading out the door.
