Smoke bomb is released in Apple store

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – A bit of a shock for some shoppers at the Apple Store at Coquitlam Centre.

It appears someone has set off something like a smoke bomb or bear spray at around 2:45 p.m. Boxing Day.

No evacuations were necessary and no other stores were affected.

Police are looking to see if this was some sort of prank.

The Apple store is being ventilated and is expected to reopen before day’s end.
