Fatal crash involving dirtbiker in Langley

LANGLEY (NEWS1130) – A dirtbiker has been killed in a crash in Langley.
RCMP Corporal Holly Marks says it happened around 1 p.m. when the rider t-boned a pickup truck at high speed on 232nd Street northbound near 72nd Avenue.
“We had a dirtbike that was driving northbound on 232nd street at an extremely high rate of speed and just prior to the collision had been passing quite a number of vehicles on the right hand side or on the shoulder.”
She says right now, it appears the bike was not licensed.
Another accident in Langley had traffic heavily backed up in the same area on Highway One eastbound, after a dumptruck hit an overpass support column just west of 232nd Street.
