Royal visit to skip BC again

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Governor General says Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, will visit Canada this May for a royal tour.

They were invited by the federal goverment, but they won’t be making a stop in BC.  Instead, the couple will make stops in Manitoba, Nova Scotia and PEI.  It will be the 17th visit to Canada for the Prince of Wales and the third for the duchess.

The royal couple last visited Canada in 2012 to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  That four-day visit included stops in New Brunswick, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
