Say goodbye to the arch of the Pattullo Bridge

Over the weekend, from Oct. 9 to 11, the arch of the Pattullo Bridge will be dismantled.

The arch will be lowered to a barge on the Fraser River and dismantled before getting recycled.

Officials say that it will be a slow process, taking 48 to 60 hours to complete.

The navigation channel is closed for the duration of the removal. 

There is no impact to travel on the  stal̕əw̓ asəm Bridge.
