WEST VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Police are looking for a suspect after a man was assaulted at the Park Royal parking lot over the weekend.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday; the driver of a car and a pedestrian were arguing at a crossing.

Police say the pedestrian was seen spitting on the car; that’s when the driver stepped out. The pedestrian apparently ran at the driver, hit him in the face, and then kicked him several times after he fell to the ground.

The male suspect drove off.

He is described as white, about 5’10”, and about 220 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, a tank top, and jeans at the time.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call West Vancouver Police at 604-925-7300.
