Crews get a head start salting Vancouver streets

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – You may have gotten a shock this morning when you peeked out the window and saw snow.

Murray Wightman with the City of Vancouver says crews have been out all night salting the streets. “Right now we’re out, we’re just waiting to see if this picks up or not.”

Wightman feels they’re in a good position. “The forecast for today and tomorrow is basically the same, so I’m just going to stick to the same plan as to what I’ve got right now. If we have to change it up, we will. For now, We’ll leave things as they are.”

We are expecting more snow tomorrow.
