Vancouver shooting was targeted: police

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Police believe a shooting in Vancouver last night was targeted.

Police say a man suffering from a bullet wound stumbled into a restaurant in the area of East 35th Avenue and Victoria Drive shortly after 9:30 p.m.

The 33-year-old from Burnaby was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. He has since been released.

At this stage in the investigation, police believe the victim was targeted. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
