As listed in an online ranking of the greatest duos of all time, Bert and Ernie, milk and cookies, and Lucy and Ethel, are among the classics.

Throw in peanut butter and jelly, Simon and Garfunkel, hangovers and Bloody Marys, and Dauenhauer says you get a good idea of the scope of the duos being voted on.
How about Hall and Oates vs the Internet and Porn? You can guess which higher on the list… even though both involve fantastic moustaches.
What makes a great duo? The individuals can exist separately, but they really shouldn’t; the sum is greater than the parts.
