Body discovered in Richmond identified by police

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – More details are being released about a body that was found in Richmond on Thursday afternoon.
Homicide investigators have identified the man as 52-year-old Allen Skedden of Delta. He was last seen on February 21st and a missing persons investigation was launched.
Police say they haven’t ruled out foul play in his death and they say the death is suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled for next week.
Just after 1 p.m. Mounties were called to Fraserwood Way and when they got there they found the body with “injuries that have not ruled out foul play.”
“Collectively, the police agencies involved are working to determine how and when Mr. Skedden died,” says IHIT Corporal Meghan Foster.
