Man behind ‘Canada Creep’ Twitter account arrested on child porn charges

CALGARY (NEWS 1130) – The man suspected to be behind the “Canada Creep” Twitter account has been arrested again for allegations relating to child pornography.

Jeffrey Robert Williamson, 42, was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of voyeurism and publication of voyeuristic recordings.

Reports say Williamson was arrested again on Friday on charges stemming from evidence police seized at his home.

Officers are going through data taken from computers, hard drives and other devices tied to the account.

The user was capturing photos and videos of women, with a camera pointing to their breasts and even up their skirts.

Police say Williamson was filming women for at least five years, without their knowledge.
