Three-year-old girl dies in Delta farm accident

DELTA (NEWS 1130) – A little girl has died in an apparent farm accident in Delta.

Andy Watson with the BC Coroners Service isn’t confirming many details but says the girl died on Wednesday.

“We’re in the very early stages of our fact-finding investigation to determine how, where, why, and by what means a young girl came to her death.”

The location of the incident has not been confirmed.

NEWS 1130 has been told the girl was three years old. The BC Coroners Service is not releasing her identity to protect the family’s privacy.

Delta Police say they are not commenting because the case is with the coroner.
