ZURICH (AP) _ Credit Suisse Group AG (CS) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $1.21 billion.
The bank, based in Zurich, said it had earnings of 48 cents per share.
The bank posted revenue of $8.52 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $6.43 billion, beating Street forecasts.
Credit Suisse shares have fallen 21% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 11% in the last 12 months.
