Contact tracing is underway, so if a family doesn’t get a call, Fraser Health has determined their child wasn’t exposed.
Otherwise, the health authority says students should continue to attend school.
There have been at least 27 exposures in B.C. schools.
However, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry assured outbreaks can be contained quickly. She said transmission remains low in schools, even if there is an outbreak.
For the most part, coronavirus notices in schools have been linked to adults who were exposed outside of the environment.
