Death of 77-year-old man in Kitsilano marks Vancouver’s 17th homicide in 2021

Vancouver Police are putting out a call for witnesses after a 77-year-old man was found dead Friday.
Officers were called to a Kitsilano home Friday around 11 a.m. after Justis Daniels was found dead.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Daniels’ death is the 17th homicide of 2021 in Vancouver, according to police.
The VPD is urging the public with dash-cam footage to reach out to the police. And witnesses who were around Tatlow Park and nearby streets of Point Grey Road and West 3rd Avenue between Balaclava and MacDonald streets from Thursday at 7 a.m. until Friday at 11 a.m.
