No one was hurt, but someone in Surrey’s Cloverdale neighbourhood took drive-thru to a new level Monday when they accidentally drove straight into a Wendy’s.
RCMP say a person attempting to park near the location along Highway 10 between 117b and 180th streets accidentally hit the gas, going straight through the front of the building.
Photos on social media show a large hole in the building and a white SUV seen through the windows.

No one was inside the restaurant at the time, and the elderly driver was taken to hospital for observation, but wasn’t hurt.
It’s unclear what, if any, charges will be recommended.
