North Vancouver will have the chance to show off its hockey spirit in late April as it’s the final stop for Rogers Hometown Hockey.
The city’s Shipyards District will be home to hockey related events running from April 23 to 25, with hosts such as Ron MacLean and Tara Sloane.
Rogers’ Hometown Hockey is a coast to coast hockey tour bringing hockey to communities across Canada.
Since 2014 the event has worked to bring Canadians together through the game.
In October, the first stop was in the Township of North Dumfries, Ontario, and Metro Vancouverites say they are looking forward to the final destination North Vancouver.
Mayor Linda Buchanen says it will be an exciting return of community events in North Van.
Tickets for the event are still available online.
Rogers is the parent company of CityNews.
