Langley’s Willowbrook mall reopened after gas leak

Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley has been reopened after a a natural gas leak on Tuesday.
The mall and surrounding buildings were evacuated at about 10:30 a.m. as FortisBC worked to resolve the leak. The evacuations were lifted over the noon hour.
“We have over 30 natural gas customers that are impacted from this damage,” said Jas Baweja with the company.

FortisBC says there was third-party damage to a line and repairs have been completed.
