Highway 10 reopened after serious crash in Surrey

A serious crash in Surrey on Monday afternoon led to a lengthy closure of Highway 10 between 168 Street and 172 Street in both directions.

Just before 3 p.m., emergency responders were called to the scene in the Cloverdale neighbourhood after a collision between a tractor trailer and a sedan.

One driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and the area of the crash remained closed overnight. The route reopened just after 4 a.m. on Tuesday.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
