North Delta stabbing sends one person to hospital, suspect arrested

One person has been arrested after a man was reportedly stabbed in North Delta Wednesday.
Police say officers received reports of an assault at a home in the city just after 10 a.m.
The victim was found with apparent stab wounds in Surrey after they are said to have driven themselves from the scene, police note.
Both people involved are known to each other, with Delta Police saying there is no risk to the public.
The victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and has since been released.
The suspect was arrested at the home where the assault is said to have taken place. There’s no word on any potential charges at this time.
