A large fire broke out in Vancouver’s Point Grey neighbourhood Friday night, catching the attention of many people.
Vancouver Fire crews attended the three-storey, unoccupied home along Drummond Avenue around 10 p.m. after receiving a number of calls.
“From the neighbours, apparently it’s unoccupied due to renovation. So we have no missing persons and no firefighters hurt at this time,” Assistant Fire Chief Kane Morishita told CityNews late Friday.

Witnesses reported seeing smoke and fire from several areas in North Vancouver and Vancouver’s West End.

The fire was put out around midnight.
There still no word on what may have caused the blaze or how extensive damage to the home is.
