A 16-year-old boy has been seriously hurt in a stabbing at Surrey’s Panorama Ridge Secondary.
According to the RCMP, two teens — 16 and 17 — have been arrested in connection with the incident at the school Monday afternoon.
Mounties were called to Panorama Ridge just before 4 p.m. to find the teen with apparent stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where they remain, though his current condition is not known.

“Initial indications are that it was an altercation between the parties, who are known to each other,” said Surrey RCMP Const. Gurvinder Ghag.
A large police presence was seen outside the high school Monday.
The RCMP says its Youth Unit officers are working with the school district to provide support to those affected by what happened.
“Any incident involving youths, especially in a school, is very concerning to us. We will be fully investigating what exactly occurred and we are asking the public if anybody was there or knows what happened to contact the Surrey RCMP,” said Ghag.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have information. You can contact the RCMP at 604.599.0502.
