Police looking for vehicle involved in East Vancouver hit and run

Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run of a pedestrian.
Around 9 p.m. Wednesday, the victim, a man who has yet to be identified by police, was crossing Clark Drive at Grant Street in East Vancouver.
According to police, the man was crossing the road and was allegedly hit by the driver of a 2011 to 2015 Kia Optima sedan.

Police say the driver fled before responders arrived.
In an email to CityNews, Sgt. Steve Addison said the victim remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Vancouver police are asking anyone with information to call the Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
