A march organized by the BC Nurses’ Union disrupted traffic in downtown Vancouver Wednesday afternoon.
Dozens of members were seen holding signs and walking in the streets of the city’s core beginning around noon.
The march is intended to raise awareness and “send a message” to the B.C. government about “mounting pressure” on the province’s healthcare system and its “dire impact” on patient care, according to a tweet.
