One arrested after untraceable gun found in truck: Delta police

Delta police say officers found a “ghost gun,” an untraceable weapon, after pulling over a truck without lights.

The Delta Police Department (DPD) says the incident happened last Thursday when police pulled a vehicle over at 80 Ave. and Scott Road.

Police say officers found two loaded guns, including a handgun “in plain view.”

DPD explains the “ghost gun” was made or partially made using “machining and/or 3D printing.”

The driver, 32-year-old Baljit Singh Nijjar, was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm, and possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm without a license, police say.
