One arrested after untraceable gun found in truck: Delta police

Delta police say officers found a “ghost gun,” an untraceable weapon, after pulling over a truck without lights.
The Delta Police Department (DPD) says the incident happened last Thursday when police pulled a vehicle over at 80 Ave. and Scott Road.

Police say officers found two loaded guns, including a handgun “in plain view.”
DPD explains the “ghost gun” was made or partially made using “machining and/or 3D printing.”
The driver, 32-year-old Baljit Singh Nijjar, was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm, and possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm without a license, police say.

Investigators say Nijjar is “believed to be connected to the current B.C. gang conflict.”
He will remain in custody until he is set to appear in court on Friday.
