Coquitlam city hall evacuated due to air quality concerns

Coquitlam city hall has been completely evacuated because of air quality concerns.
A city spokesperson tells CityNews around 1:45 p.m., a small fire led to a mechanical issue that resulted in poor air quality.

Everyone in the building was ordered to leave. The city says the building will remain closed for at least the remainder of the day Tuesday.
Those who have business to conduct at city hall are being asked to use online services instead.
There have not been any reports of injuries. CityNews has reached out to Coquitlam Fire for more information.
