BC Ferries warns of potential cancellations due to deteriorating weather conditions

As the province issues warnings against non-essential travel Thursday, BC Ferries is following suit, telling people to expect sailing cancellations across many routes and fleets ahead of another winter storm.
According to the company, poor road conditions heading into terminals, compounded by strong winds and heavy snow are likely to impact ferry operations starting Thursday night up till Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022.
Environment Canada has issued an arctic outflow warning that may affect transportation services across the province over the coming days.

BC Ferries says it is closely monitoring the weather forecast, and has assured that it will refund customers with bookings if a sailing is cancelled.
Travellers are asked to check the website for updates before travelling over the next few days.
