A number of fans are unhappy with Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller and are taking to social media to air their opinion on his behaviour during Thursday’s game against Winnipeg.
In the last minute of play, Miller yelled at the Canucks netminder, Collin Delia, and went behind him, smacking his stick against the net while still shouting.
Down by a goal, Miller wanted the netminder off the ice for an extra attacker.
Some people thought it was disrespectful while others thought it wasn’t a big deal.
Jets snap the Canucks 3 game winning streak but the loss wasn’t the most polarizing part of the game.

After the amount of ridiculous giveaways JT Miller has had this year, can you really blame Delia for not wanting to head to the bench in that situation?

Sportsnet 650 Canucks Game Analyst Randip Janda and Sportsnet 650 Host Bik Nizzar gave their thoughts on the situation. Janda says Miller should focus on his own play.
“Focus on what you can do, focus on what you and your teammates can do. Don’t worry about the goalie. He’s got that direct line of communication with the bench. They’re probably going to figure that out. They’re going to give him the signal to come in,” he said.

Meanwhile, Nizzar thinks there are bigger problems than getting agitated on ice.
“We’re wasting so much time trying to be nice. Who cares? There are so many other problems outside this game, outside of ‘JT was a little mean,” Nizzar said.
The Canucks lost and will be playing against Calgary Saturday night.
