West Vancouver Police search for high risk missing woman

The West Vancouver Police Department is asking for help in finding a 27-year-old woman.
Tamira Hansen travelled to the Lower Mainland from Calgary and was last seen boarding a bus to Vancouver in Horseshoe Bay at about 9 a.m. on Feb. 23.
Hansen is described as an Indigenous female, 5’7”, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket with a beige hoody and sweatpants underneath her jacket.
Police say it’s out of character for Hansen to be out of contact for this long. Hansen is a vulnerable person and police say she may be staying on the streets or in shelters.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them immediately. Anyone with information on Hansen’s whereabouts are asked to call the West Vancouver Police at 604 925 7300. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
